Women's Health Care Services Permanently Closed

Wichita, KS -- After the death of late-term abortionist George Tiller on May 31, 2009, the Tiller family made the decision to permanently close Women's Health Care Services, the late-terma bortion facility where Christin Gilbert received a third-trimester abortion. 

This closure made Wichita an abortion-free city for the first time in decades.

On June 20, 2009, pro-lifers led by Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney and Operation Rescue held a memorial in Wichita, KS, to remember the pre-born babies that died there.  The group visited the sites of all three former abortion clinics and laid thousands of flowers in memory of the pre-born victims of abortion.

The group also visited Wesley Medical Center, and laid flowers and a special wreath in remembrance of Christin Gilbert, who died there from a botched third-trimester abortion. 

May she now rest in peace.
